Explore social emotional learning with fun hands-on activities that are easy to recreate at home!
For Preschoolers age 3-5 and their caregivers.
Is your child getting ready to attend Kindergarten or even start preschool soon? Join us as we explore social emotional learning with fun hands-on activities that are easy to recreate at home using everyday objects. Multiple stations will be available for you and your preschooler to visit and each is accompanied by instructions that guide caregivers through repeating the activities at home.
Practicing social-emotional skills before entering Kindergarten helps children to better manage their emotions, build friendships, and develop self confidence. Learning to take turns, share, and recognize their feelings, gives young children experience in interacting and empathizing with others, which contributes to forming positive relationships with their peers, resolving conflicts, and adapting to change.
Registration required. Space is limited.
Please register using your child’s name.
Caregivers attending the program with a child do not need to register.
