Beginning Stitching for Kids

For Grades 1 - 5

Join Miss Jenny for an introductory class on the basics of hand sewing!

Learn the very basics of stitching and hand sewing with this introductory class! We will cover a few basic stitches as we practice sewing with blunt needles on an embroidery hoop. Come prepared to learn and relax as we practice these skills. No previous experience needed.

For kids in grades 1-5. Registration is required. Please register using your child's name.

There are many benefits to stitching and hand sewing for kids. Practicing these skills improves hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, concentration and building patience. Learning how to sew is also a useful lifelong skill.
