Beginning Sewing for Kids

For Grades 1 - 5

Let's learn beginning sewing skills by making a pillow!

Join Miss Jenny for a basic hand sewing class!

Learn the very basics of stitching and hand sewing with this introductory class. We will cover a couple basic stitches as we practice sewing a small pillow. Come prepared to learn and relax as we practice these skills. No previous experience needed.

For kids in grades 1-5. Registration is required. Please register using your child's name.

There are many benefits to stitching and hand sewing for kids. Practicing these skills improves hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, concentration and building patience. Learning how to sew is also a useful lifelong skill.
