The sounds of many letter names are closely related to the sound the letter makes, so learning letter name recognition can make learning letter sounds easier for young readers. Additionally, children become aware that printed letters stand for spoken words as they see print used in their daily lives. All of these elements, identifying letter names, learning letter sounds, and recognizing printed letters are stepping stones on the way to helping your child become a successful reader!
For Preschoolers age 3-5 and their caregivers.
Registration required. Please register using your child’s name. Space is limited.
Caregivers attending the program with a child do not need to register.
