Learn the basics of TinkerCAD by designing survival and readiness items.

Learn about 3D printers and using TinkerCAD to:

Create a 3-D print as part of the library's Survival of the Readiness series. Design objects such as carabiners, clip buckles, zipper pulls, rope tighteners, and more!

  • Learn about workplane, extruder, and the filament in a 3D printer
  • Drag and drop shapes
  • Modify dimensions
  • Zoom in and out
  • How to check structural supports and slice your project

Access to the Spark! Lab is for adults and students in grade 6 and higher with a library card in good standing.

About the branch

The Burbank Central Library is located at the corner of Glenoaks Boulevard and Olive Avenue in downtown Burbank. It is a two-story building with elevator access.
