Learn to confidently use a fire extinguisher with Burbank Water & Power. Hands-on, expert-led training for ages 16+ (13 - 15 with an adult). Be prepared when it counts!
Have you ever wondered if you'd know what to do in a real fire emergency? You're not alone—74% of adults have never actually used a fire extinguisher. Now's your chance to change that with this unique opportunity.
We will begin a session every 15 minutes between 4:00PM and 5:00PM.
In these dynamic 15 minute training sessions, participants will learn how to choose the right type of fire extinguisher for different kinds of fires, and most importantly, how to confidently and safely use one. With expert guidance from Burbank Water & Power, you'll get to handle real equipment in a controlled setting—an experience that could make all the difference in an emergency.
Suggested Audience: Ages 16+ (or 13 - 15 years old with a parent or guardian)
Training held in the PARKING LOT at Buena Vista Branch Library.
