Seniors (55+) wanted for a Reader's Theater community production of Orson Welles' "War of the World." No memorization or experience required.
Are you a Senior with an acting bug or always wanted to try Reader's Theater? Audition for our live Reader’s Theater production of War of the Worlds, the legendary radio play made famous by Orson Welles. No need to prepare a monologue—auditions will be held using selections from the script.
If cast, you’ll be asked to attend two additional Tuesday rehearsals at Burbank Central Library, plus a dress rehearsal on Tuesday, October 14 at Buena Vista Branch Library. The final performance will take place on Saturday, October 18 from 1–3 PM at Buena Vista Branch Library.
This is a fun, low-pressure way to step into the spotlight—no memorization required!

The Burbank Central Library is located at the corner of Glenoaks Boulevard and Olive Avenue in downtown Burbank. It is a two-story building with elevator access.
