A pretend health & wellness experience for young children to bring their favorite plush for a stress-free and fun "stuffed animal check-up!"

Children ages 0-6 are welcome to bring one stuffed animal/plush for a drop-in health & wellness "check up" at Buena Vista Branch Library! We will conduct quick, lighthearted check-ups on the stuffed animals and offer various hands-on activities to engage children in fun, interactive pretend play.

Please note: We will not be offering real health examinations for any children and cannot answer any health-related questions at this event.

Doctor or emergency health visits can sometimes be overwhelming or anxiety-inducing for young children. The goal of this program is to familiarize children with regular health examinations and de-stigmatize doctor visits by turning it into an enjoyable and interactive play-based experience.
