Kids will learn the basics of TinkerCAD to 3D print their own creation!
Kids in grades 2-6, come learn how to design and print a 3D creation of your own! Instructor Melissa Hoang will guide you through the design process using TinkerCAD to plan your own small piece to be printed with the library's 3D printer with your choice of color filament. All projects will need to be picked up at a later time from the Burbank Central Library once printed. One-on-one help will be provided, as well as a celebratory snack at the end! No previous experience is necessary.
If you have your own laptop you can use, please email childrenslibrarian@burbankca.gov for registration confirmation. We will have a few spots reserved for those who can bring their own device. TinkerCAD is a web-based program, so no downloading necessary!
The Burbank Central Library is located at the corner of Glenoaks Boulevard and Olive Avenue in downtown Burbank. It is a two-story building with elevator access.
