Insect Investigators

Join us for an exploratory afternoon all about insects!

Get ready to bug out with Insect Investigators! In this hands-on, curiosity-fueled program, kids will discover what makes an insect an insect—and why bugs are some of the coolest creatures on Earth. We’ll explore amazing insect features and have some very special guests to ask! Cole Cramer and Connor Hsu of the Lorquin Society Scholars will bring their amazing insect collections (not live!) for kids to inspect and ask questions.

Young entomologists will rotate through learning stations where they can:

• Create their very own bug friend to take home
• Examine real insect parts up close under a microscope
• Ask questions and share their discoveries with special guests from the Lorquin Society Scholars, the Youth Division of the Lorquin Entomological Society
