Stop by the Central Library and spend time designing and building with LEGO® bricks.
Families and kids are invited to come build and create. Become an engineer, design a city, build a boat, a dream house, or a space ship.
Drop in and design your own masterpiece using the Library's LEGO bricks. Get creative and have fun.
We also provide larger Duplo blocks for younger children.
When engaging in building activities children can be as adventurous and creative as they want, allowing them to experiment, problem solve, and test out new ideas. Playing with LEGO® bricks is also known to have benefits for the development of fine motor skills, developing dexterity and strength in the fingers. The differing amounts of pressure required to assemble the bricks is a great exercise for fingers, supporting children in being able to hold a pencil and control the pressure applied when writing.
The Burbank Central Library is located at the corner of Glenoaks Boulevard and Olive Avenue in downtown Burbank. It is a two-story building with elevator access.
