Tweens will learn the basics of TinkerCAD to 3D print their own creation!
Tweens in grades 4 - 7, come learn how to design and print a 3D creation of your own! Instructor Melissa Hoang will guide you through the design process using TinkerCAD to plan your own small piece to be printed with the library's 3D printer with your choice of color filament. All projects will need to be picked up at a later time from Burbank Central Library once printed. One-on-one help will be provided. No previous experience is necessary.
If you have your own laptop you can use, please email childrenslibrarian@burbankca.gov for registration confirmation. We will have a few spots reserved for those who can bring their own device. TinkerCAD is a web-based program, so no downloading necessary!
Registration required. Space is limited.
Please register using your child’s name.
Why Tweens? We get it - it's a tough age! Too big for the little kid programs, not old enough for the teen programs. These special Tween Scene programs give those inbetweeners a place of their own where they can be themselves with other kids their age.
The Burbank Central Library is located at the corner of Glenoaks Boulevard and Olive Avenue in downtown Burbank. It is a two-story building with elevator access.
