Learn how to record a song from Grammy Award-winning recording engineer and mixer, Be Hussey.
In this two day class, music professional Be Hussey will demonstrate how to record a song using the Library's new sound booth and a digital audio workstation from the Spark! Digital Media Lab.
Day 1: Setup & Recording
- Setting up your studio
- Recording drums and keyboards using midi
- Recording acoustic instruments and voice
Day 2: Editing and Mixing
- Editing your performance
- Using Plug-ins
- Mixing and Mastering
Access to the Spark! Lab is for adults and students in grade 6 and higher with a library card in good standing.
Registration signs you up for both sessions.
