BPL’s new Book Club Kits make starting a book club easy. Join us to learn more about this resource and how you can start your own book club!
BPL has new Book Club Kits that include everything you need to run a book club - except the snacks! Each kit contains multiple copies of a title, so no one has to scramble for a library copy or spend money on a book. Every kit includes the books and discussion questions to help get the conversation started.
On March 30, participants will receive a copy of Daisy Jones & the Six. We’ll also suggest different ways to structure a book club and how to set guidelines that work best for your group. We’ll come together again on April 20 to discuss the book and practice the skills needed to lead a book club.
We’re especially excited that Taylor Jenkins Reid will be at the library for an Author Talk on April 25. Read one of her books and come prepared for her visit to Burbank!
The Burbank Central Library is located at the corner of Glenoaks Boulevard and Olive Avenue in downtown Burbank. It is a two-story building with elevator access.
