Join our Audiobook Walking Club!

All ages and abilities welcome—walk, run, stroll, or roll at your own pace. Enjoy fresh air, a great audiobook, and some movement all at once!

Last Thursday of the Month | 9:30am – 10:30am
Meet in Lincoln Park behind Buena Vista Branch Library

We'll start with a brief check-in to share what you're listening to and swap recommendations. Then, head out for a walk, run, stroller stroll, or wheelchair roll while listening to stories on your device. Prefer chatting instead of listening? That’s fine too—silence isn’t required.

Bring any audiobook you love, whether it’s the latest bestseller on Libby, Hoopla, or Palace Project, or a beloved classic. Library staff will be available to help with audiobook apps.

This all-ages, drop-in program is a fun, flexible way to enjoy stories and get moving. Invite your whole family! Intergenerational groups are welcome (kids can listen to their favorites while adults enjoy theirs).

Our goal is simple: to carve out an easy, welcoming space for books, wellness, and each other.

And if you haven't picked up a physical book in a while, no worries—you still don't have to. 😉 Let’s Listen & Move!
