Join us for a discussion of They Called Us Enemy by George Takei led by Kristen Hayashi, Ph.D
Join Kristen Hayashi, curator at the Japanese American National Museum (JANM) for a discussion of George Takei's graphic memoir They Called Us Enemy, the "One Book, One Coast" selection for 2026. Additionally, we'll also explore primary source materials from JANM's Collection related to the World War II experience of Japanese Americans.
Free copies of They Called Us Enemy will be available for pick-up from Buena Vista Branch Library, starting May 8th, for those that have registered for the book discussion.
