Pediatric Safety & Emergency Response

The discussion will focus on pediatric health risks, in the home and community settings, with Save a Little Life.
Parents and caregivers of young children, join us for an informational program by Richard Pass of Save a Little Life, based here in Burbank. Richard will give a presentation covering:
- Basic first aid for common injuries
- SIDS risk in newborns
- Water and swimming safety
- Latest CPR guidelines
- And more
There will be time for a short Q&A at the end.
Richard Pass has vast experience as a clinical RN having worked in a number of large medical centers in both Portland, OR and Los Angeles. He started Save a Little Life 25 years ago in an effort to focus on newborn, toddler and child related emergency response and continues to work with pediatricians, midwives, doulas and other health professionals to get his message out. He believes it’s crucial that parents, family members and all care providers assume the responsibility of seeing themselves as First Responders.
