Join us for a fun evening of writing exercises, brainstorming, and discussion.

Led by professional writers, our monthly, 90-minute workshops provide unique opportunities for you to develop your craft and make connections with other local creatives. Everyone is welcome—no experience necessary. 

This month, we’ll explore how memories can inspire and fuel our writing with guest author Lisbeth Coiman. Lisbeth will share techniques for mining our experiences and creating work that engages the senses and touches the heart. Come write with us!

About Lisbeth Coiman

Lisbeth Coiman is a writer and educator from Venezuela. Her debut book, I Asked the Blue Heron: A Memoir (2017) examines the intersection between immigration and mental health. Her bilingual poetry collection, Uprising / Alzamiento (2021) alerts us to the fragility of democracy. Coiman lives in Los Angeles.
