About Lisbeth Coiman
Lisbeth Coiman is a writer and educator from Venezuela. Her debut book, I Asked the Blue Heron: A Memoir (2017) examines the intersection between immigration and mental health. Her bilingual poetry collection, Uprising / Alzamiento (2021) alerts us to the fragility of democracy. Coiman lives in Los Angeles.
The Buena Vista Branch Library is located on Buena Vista Street near Olive Avenue in Burbank’s Media District. It is a one-story building.
