Discover how Disney authors, archivists, and historians chronicled the company's storied heritage of innovation and creativity in a new book produced for Disney’s 100th anniversary.
The Burbank Public Library and The Walt Disney Archives present a celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary by exploring the creation of The Story of Disney: 100 Years of Wonder, a brand-new coffee table book that chronicles a century of Disney storytelling and innovation. Author Bruce C. Steele and fellow book contributors Mike Buckhoff, Edward Ovalle, and Paula Sigman-Lowery join host Becky Cline (Director, Walt Disney Archives) for an inside look at how they captured 100 years of history within a single engaging story—with Walt Disney’s creative philosophies serving as their guide. You are invited to share your own favorite Disney moments and connect with fellow attendees.
Copies of The Story of Disney: 100 Years of Wonder will be available for sale from The Friends of the Burbank Public Library. A book signing will follow the panel discussion.
The Buena Vista Branch Library is located on Buena Vista Street near Olive Avenue in Burbank’s Media District. It is a one-story building.
