Read to a therapy bunny to practice your reading skills!
Is your child struggling with reading? Do they need a safe and cozy place to practice? Do they like bunnies and dogs?
Sign up for a reading session with a therapy dog at the library! Every month, a therapy dog or bunny (and their human) will visit the library to provide support and encourage practicing reading skills. Reading to a therapy animal is a proven strategy that helps kids build up their reading confidence with a calm listener. You can sign up for a time slot starting the week before the meeting at www.burbanklibrary.org/kids. Our visits will be on: Saturdays 12/2 and 12/16 from 3 - 4 pm in the Buena Vista Branch Library Story Time Room.
Saturday, 12/2: Pet Partners, Newton the Bunny
Saturday, 12/16: BARK, Bella the Dog
The Buena Vista Branch Library is located on Buena Vista Street near Olive Avenue in Burbank’s Media District. It is a one-story building.
