Homeschool Program: Styrofoam Block Printing

For Homeschoolers in Grades K-5

Create your own block print using styrofoam!

We will learn the history of block printing and its various techniques. We will also learn about African American artists Margaret Taylor Burroughs and Elizabeth Catlett, who were known for their block printings. Then we will create our own block prints to take home!

You probably already know the library is full of books, databases, and other materials to help students explore topics in your curriculum but did you know the library is also a great place to meet other homeschooling families? Join us once a month for this special program and network with other homeschooling families in the area.
