El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día, is a celebration every day of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30. Día programs promote the daily commitment to linking children and their families to diverse books, languages, and cultures. Día programs encourage literacy, community connection and the importance of embracing a child's home culture and language.
The Northwest Branch Library is located on Victory Boulevard near Hollywood Way, not far from the Hollywood Burbank Airport. It is a one-story building.
