Get hands on with rocks and minerals! Learn about the different rock types and some of the factors Scientists use to identify minerals. Get ready to rock with fun facts about volcanic rocks, geodes, Fool’s Gold, and then use graphite minerals to write notes!

Science programs spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and can teach kids about the world around them. Participants also learn about the scientific process by asking questions, analyzing data, making predictions, and experimenting with results.
