Lost and Found Rehomed
Give lost-and-found items a second chance!
Saturday, August 08
10:00am - 2:00pm
Families are invited to shop freshly laundered lost and found collections gathered from local schools and take what they can use this school year. No clothing goes to waste. No family pays a thing.
Every Burbank school has a lost and found overflowing with unclaimed clothing that usually gets tossed at the end of the school year. Burbank Eco Council, together with the Burbank Public Library, have collected, laundered, and sorted the lost and found collections from ten schools, now it's your turn to shop! Families are invited to browse kids clothing, appropriate for grades K-12, and take what they can use while helping to reduce waste and keeping perfectly good items out of landfills.
No clothing goes to waste.
No family pays a thing.
Registration not required but encouraged. The event is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to arrive early for the best selection of available items.
Special thanks to Sparkle Laundry and Home Again LA for additional support of the event. Lost & Found Rehomed is also supported by Event Sponsor Ume Credit Union, the City of Burbank Community Pilot Event Grant, and generous community donors.
