A Preptember Program

Based on the book series, "I Survived" by Lauren Tarshis, visit each STEM station to learn about these true historical events and natural disasters!
Get hands-on STEM experience with activities like building earthquake-resistant structures, building sturdy aluminum boats and seeing how many "passengers" it can hold, volcano eruptions, and creating a tornado. You will also learn how to be better prepared for these natural disasters!
Science experiments are a powerful educational tool, providing a dynamic and engaging way for kids to learn and grow. Experimenting can foster curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills and a lifelong love of learning and exploration.

The Burbank Central Library is located at the corner of Glenoaks Boulevard and Olive Avenue in downtown Burbank. It is a two-story building with elevator access.
