Hone your writing skills with a scribe of scary stories!
It's time for our TeenTober Scary Story contest, and this year we're bringing in some experts to help you out! Justine Pucella Winans (they/she) is the author of Bianca Torre Is Afraid of Everything, One Killer Problem, How to Survive a Slasher, and the upcoming Your Boyfriend Needs an Exorcist. They'll talk about how to plan and build a horror story, and you'll get a chance to try it out yourself. We'll also be giving away copies of Justine's books to some lucky winners.
If you think you've written a scary tour de force, be sure to enter it in the contest.
This program is for teens in grades 6-12, registration is not required.
