Teen Library Leaders

Earn volunteer hours while you plan an event at the library!

Want a say in what happens at your library? Teen Library Leaders is a new way to get volunteer hours and leadership experience at the Burbank Library! From November until next summer, you'll work together with other teens to:​

• Come up with an idea for an event that's welcoming to all teens​
• Make plans, craft a budget​ and prepare materials
• Have fun at a successful and fun event you planned!​

Teen Library Leaders offers a unique opportunity to develop real-world skills in project management, event planning, and community advocacy!

This program is only open to middle school and high school students (grades 6-12). Members must apply to the Burbank Volunteer program. We will provide applications at the first meeting.
