Join us for a slightly spooky themed figure drawing workshop on drawing composition, inspired by the writing of Carmen Maria Machado.

Led by Sketkh Williams, professional illustrator and co-founder of Sketch by Sketkh, this workshop will explore drawing composition. Artists will learn techniques for thinking through and planning the elements of a picture, such as perspective, lighting, framing and scale.

This October event will be themed around the works of author Carmen Maria Machado (Her Body & Other Parties, The Low Low Woods, In the Dream House) with a specially curated playlist and costumed live figure model.

No previous drawing experience is required and artists of all skill levels are welcome!

Drawing materials and refreshments will be provided.
